Volunteer Organise Fund Raising for Community Interest Company

What will you be doing?

Looking for someone that has ideally experience in this area of work, a minimum of 3 years experience required. Experience in putting an efficient and consistent funding process is put in place. Experience of organsing fund raising activities To make applications to suitable grant providers such as the Lottery Fund.  To organise various activities during the year to raise funds for the causes of Bapas Meals. Work on own initiative and within a team to promote the cause. Work mainly remotely and provide updates via teams meetings. Ability to deal with social media platforms and maximising budget to raise awareness and on-going funds. The various parts of fund raising can be discussed and shared between volunteers depending on skills/wants and there is flexilbility around this. The plan is to have a network Volunteers in place across the UK so that there is consistent donations coming in for better forward planning. If you are someone that has put in place a successful funding process and feel that you can bring experience to guide this new set up be it even for a short period of time then that would be very welcome, or have had 3 years experience of fund raising then please apply. What are we looking for?

Looking for volunteers that have worked in this Industry for a minimum of 3 years, either organising activities, running social campaigns, raising, street collections, approaching corporates, grant applications. Ability to connect with all members of public, businesses, people of all ages and ability to be polite and professional at all times.  

What difference will you make?

The cause is simple ' feed poor children'  The impact is great, give a chance to a child in a poor community the opportunity to have at least one nutritious meal per day so that they are able to go to school, instead of parents having to worry how their child will be fed that day and sending them to work. By allowing the child to go to school not only improves the life chances of that particular child but potentially that family in the longer term lifting them out of poverty. The long term aim is to Improve life chances and alleviate poverty, by making this simple gesture of feeding a child.
