What will you be doing?

We offer several courses and groups to help women live their best lives following abusive relationships. Once women have left the relationship, the help from other organisations falls away. The women are left devastated and extremely vulnerable and need help to get back on their feet. We help them understand what happened to them and help to overcome any struggles they are now facing wether it be mental wellbeing, financial hardship etc.  The problem we face just now is that most women don't know we are here. The women who have come to us have mostly been via word of mouth. We need someone with great PR skills to help us reach those women who need help. We need that person to be compassionate and feel strongly about our cause. We would be happy to have someone volunteer but we would love for that person to join our board as trustee to help make this charity a success. We have one board meeting per month.

What difference will you make?

By helping us raise awareness of our charity, you would be helping women affected by domestic abuse in so many ways. You would help us give them a lifeline to get their life back on track and support them back to independence. Not only will you have a massive impact on the women themselves, but their children, families and friends. Abuse takes an enourmous toll on all of these people but you can join us to help them all.
