What will you be doing?
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify and build relationships with key decision makers within potential partner organizations and funders Investigate and contribute to strategic decisions in relation to developing alternate income Researching and identifying corporate partnership opportunities and achieve new successful corporate relationships Making persuasive applications and proposals to companies for fundraising partnerships, sponsorship, corporate fundraising prospects Ensuring the applications are compelling, engaging and commercially viable Developing, building and maintaining excellent relationship management and support to new corporate partners.
Time commitment for the volunteer: Ultimately, we would be extremley grateful for any time you can give us, but it would be great if you could commit to at least 3-4 hours per week Location: From home/Fully remote, but should you wish you are very welcome to visit us in Chichester too
What are we looking for?
You will be able to:
Demonstrate relevant experience of successful fundraising and/or building partnerships Adapt your communication style to connect with a range of audiences Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as listening and negotiation skills Demonstrate creative thinking and have confidence in presenting new ideas and approaches Demonstrate excellent networking skills to create, harness and develop successful partnerships Effectively prioritise and be motivated to work independently Confidently use Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Excel Collaborate with other teams across the organisation
You will have:
An enthusiasm for developing ideas and building relationships Strong communication and organisational skills. Positive ‘can do’ approach with the ability to be adaptable on your own initiative.
