What will you be doing?
We have three roles to fill: 1. Email marketing, with specific experience of using email platforms (we currently use Dotdigital), or web page populating and some understanding of working in a html environment;2. Photography administrator, co-ordinating photographers' projects for the theatre and managing the theatre’s online photography library; 3. Data administrator, able to use data to create digestible reports and a summary for the team, including weekly activity analysis, database segmenting and Google data reporting. Some experience is an advantage. We meet online once a week to plan activities for the week ahead, and in-person once a quarter. Each team member takes on a different area of responsibility. The weekly time commitment is about two hours, working as part of an enthusiastic, fun team and playing a pivotal role in the life of our lovely community theatre.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for the following skills (one or all of these): email marketing, project management, data administration. Other attributes: attention to detail and accuracy, self-motivated, team player, knowledge of marketing techniques, creativity
What difference will you make?
The marketing team is a pivotal part of the theatre's management and operations. Your help and expertise will enable the theatre to thrive, promoting shows and keeping up our number of bookings. In addition, the marketing support you offer will help with our fundraising efforts, which is another aspect of the role. Without effective marketing and communications we won't be able to raise the extra money we need to keep the theatre functioning as an important community asset.
