What will you be doing?

Helping to keep our governance and new projects moving forward, they will take part in Board and sub committee meetings. They will arrange for the development and updating of Board, Policy and Strategic documents. They will lead on rationalising digital documents and archive systems and liaise with support the internal communications functions.  The responsibilities of the role include: 

You will be working with the Chair, CEO and other relevant Team leaders members to support governance and administration actions. Prepare notices of meetings, agree dates and venues, prepare and distribute agendas, prepare and publish minutes.   Attend regular meetings (held online) to record updates on progress and to report back on projects or FHALMA’s activities.  Scheduling and Planning, they will organise Board and Away Day meetings, organisational calendars both virtual and face-to-face sessions.  Help with writing reports as and when required.  

We estimate that the Partner will be able to support up to 10 monthly hourly meetings, about 2 hours per week. With a possible increase in hours for the preparations for new project partner or Board meetings. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys organising, tracking tasks and bringing people together. They will bring energy and ideas to this new role and be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure goals are met.     We are open to expressions of interest from people with relevant skills and interests at any career stage, including people who have retired or are otherwise not currently in employment. You may have experience in governance, administration, and be interested in applying those skills to a voluntary role in a charity. We are open to this role being shared as the activities can be split among a team of Projects Governance Partners.  We do require you to have a minimum of 3 years proven professional skills and the kind of experience that is related to this role We use proficient Office365 tools
