Role Summary

  • Act as the ESG expert and key contact within the product team.

Role Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, with preference for an advanced degree.
  • At least 3 years of ESG experience, particularly in consulting or product development.
  • Expertise in ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Fluency in French & English.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Passionate about sustainability and ESG innovation.
  • An empathetic team player adept at building relationships.

Sweep is hiring anESG Specialist / Product Team Liaisonto join our dynamic product team, leveraging their expertise to guide the development of new modules and fuel our team with domain knowledge.

Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit-ready reports to run the best sustainability programs.

Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?

As the ESG Specialist / Product Team Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our product team to develop and enhance modules that align with our ESG Sweep offers.

Drawing on your expertise in ESG-related topics, you will provide strategic guidance, insights, and domain knowledge to inform decision-making and drive innovation within our product development process.

Key responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert on ESG-related topics within the product team.
2. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify opportunities to integrate ESG considerations into new module development.
3. Conduct research and analysis on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to our industry and target markets.
4. Provide guidance on incorporating ESG metrics, reporting frameworks, and standards into the design and functionality of new modules.
5. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between ESG objectives and product roadmaps, advocating for the integration of sustainable features and functionalities.
6. Assist in the development of ESG-focused product strategies, value propositions, and messaging to effectively communicate the sustainability benefits of our modules to customers and stakeholders.
7. Stay informed about emerging technologies and innovations in ESG, identifying opportunities for integration into our product portfolio.
8. Foster a culture of ESG awareness and engagement within the product team, providing training, resources, and support as needed.

Qualifications 🏆

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in ESG-related roles, with a focus on ESG consulting or product development areas.
  • Deep understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD and CSRD.
  • Fluency in both French & English is mandatory.
