Role Summary

  • Lead growth strategy development for Coursera's top-of-funnel product initiatives.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience in consumer-facing digital products.
  • Expertise in growth and customer acquisition strategies, including SEO and referrals.
  • Proven success in delivering complex product initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, SQL, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Dedication to Coursera's mission of transforming lives through education.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.

Job Overview:

As Senior Product Manager for the Growth product team, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing Coursera's mission of providing universal access to world-class education. You'll optimize and expand top-of-funnel product-led growth strategies to attract and convert traffic to our subscriptions-based ecosystem, expanding our global reach and impact. Through rapid experimentation, you'll contribute to key initiatives such as internationalization, conversion rate optimization, referrals, and other growth strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and enrich our product-led growth strategies at the top-of-the-funnel, ensuring the strategies effectively enhance our platform's global reach and subscriptions-based ecosystem. 
  • Employ rapid experimentation techniques to understand evolving market trends , user behaviors,  Use this data-driven approach to optimize our strategies for growth  and steer product success. 
  • Perform a lead role in the execution and fruition of key strategic initiatives, namely internationalization and conversion rate optimization. Oversee the project stages, from planning and goal-setting to successful implementation and outcome analysis. 
  • Develop and promote robust  growth tactics including referral programs and others. This will involve collaborating with other teams to ensure these additions complement our product offerings and maximize customer value and engagement and overall impact to Consumer Business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a consumer-facing digital product
  • Hands on experience driving growth and customer acquisition tactics like SEO, loyalty, referral,  and proven impact 
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex and impactful product initiatives from ideation to launch
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative user research. Experience with A/B testing, SQL, and data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams through communication and collaboration
  • Strong commitment to Coursera's mission of transforming lives through learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or relevant field
  • Hands on experience and proven track record of impact  in a consumer digital product organization driving growth and customer acquisition tactics

Compensation:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between$136,000 and $296,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
