Role Summary

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Bevi's sales processes and customer segments.
  • Create and update sales collateral for direct sales teams and channel partners.
  • Gather market feedback through interviews with customers and partners.
  • Produce high-impact case studies for promotional and sales use.
  • Manage product and feature launch communications internally and externally.

Role Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a Product Marketing role, preferably with experience in direct and channel/partner sales.
  • Strong writing skills and proficiency in creating sales collateral.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and extract valuable insights.
  • Successful track record of collaborating with B2B sales teams.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.

In addition to maintaining high growth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.

ROLE

Bevi created the Smart Water Cooler ® category, has the best product in the market, and is innovating at a rapid pace. Having the best product isn’t enough though. In an increasingly crowded category, Bevi also needs to be strategic in how we market to different verticals, different buyer personas, via direct and indirect sales, and how we launch new products and features. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be integral in enabling growth with content and competitive insights for enterprise customers, SMBs, and channel partners.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing and partnering closely with the leaders of Sales and Product, this individual contributor role will make a large impact on the Bevi business as we accelerate growth. This role will gain a deep understanding of Bevi’s products, sales processes, and current/target customers, and competitors, and apply these insights to our sales and marketing efforts. The role will split time between enabling direct sales and channel sales, creating compelling collateral and continuously improving our library of content to help Bevi and our channel partners win in the market.

LOCATION: Boston, in office 3+ days per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain a deep understanding of the sales process for direct and channel sales, across different customer segments
  • Create and maintain a complete library of sales support collateral (one-sheets, decks, etc.) for both our direct sales team and our channel partners
  • Interview Bevi customers and channel partners to collect market feedback and create high-impact case studies to feature on the website and to use in the sales process
  • Manage internal and external communications around all product and feature launches
  • Conduct competitive research to ensure Bevi is always aware of the most recent market activity
  • Educate the entire company on the market and on our customers, with a specific focus on enabling the marketing and sales teams
  • Develop and maintain the “personas” of the key buyers and influencers that Bevi sells to in each segment, and ensure our marketing materials consistently use the right messaging for each persona
  • Ensure consistency in product representation (specs, imagery, etc.) and maintain an extremely high bar for quality across all marketing collateral, including the Bevi website
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of Bevi’s hardware, software, and beverage products 

Requirements

  • 5-7 years in a Product Marketing role. Experience working in an environment with both direct and channel/partner sales is a plus
  • Strong writing skills and ability to independently create sales collateral, with a knack for short-form content
  • Obsession with understanding customers, and experience interviewing customers to derive insights
  • A track record of successful collaboration with B2B sales teams
  • Comfort being the sole owner of the Product Marketing function in a rapidly-growing business. You will constantly be driving both strategy and execution
  • Strong project management skills and organization with the ability to drive cross-functional programs and sales initiatives to success
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
