- Provide comprehensive administrative, financial, and office management support.
- Facilitate the implementation of RRo's strategy by assisting the financial management with budgeting and forecasting.
- Contribute to meeting the organization's contractual obligations with partners and donors by ensuring compliance with policies and practices.
- A background in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with at least 3 years of experience in financial project administration, preferably in an NGO setting.
- Independent work ethic, guided by strong ethical principles, proactive and solution-driven mindset.
- Team player capable of functioning in an international and multicultural environment, possessing strong organizational and administrative competencies.
- Integrity and adherence to high ethical standards to foster trustworthy collaborations.
- Excellent communication skills in Romanian and English, both written and spoken.
- A passion for nature and sustainability is valued and highly relevant to the role.
- Prior experience with EU-LIFE projects and other grants is an advantage.

Rewilding Romania (RRo) is an organisation with the mission to make Romania a wilder place and restore natural processes in the Southern Carpathians and Danube Delta. The Southern Carpathians area is known as one of the wildest areas of Europe, famous for the rich and diverse wildlife.
The role entails supporting the organisation by offering administrative, financial, and office management support. You will be responsible for specific actions such as finances, human resources, operations etc. and help the organisation implement the strategy by providing necessary information to the financial management department. This includes support in budget management and forecasts for the partners and donors for RRo to fulfill contract obligations and deliver results according to the organisation’s policies and practices.
Job requirements include Accounting/Finance/Economy studies and at least 3 years of experience in financial administration of projects, preferably for an NGO. You should be able to work independently, following ethical principles, proactive and solution-oriented. Teamwork abilities, able to work in an international and intercultural environment with demonstrated organisational and administrative skills. Integrity and healthy values are key to building a good working relationship with the team and other collaborators. Very good communication skills in Romanian and ability to communicate in English (written, spoken) are required. The affinity for nature and sustainability is appreciated and will prove essential in working inside a conservation environment. Experience with EU-LIFE projects and other grants is preferred.
