What will you be doing?

Have you worked in the Charity sector before and have accounting and budgeting experience? We are looking for someone who is experienced in using Xero accounting software to help us to create our short term and long term budgets. We are looking for someone able to generate our end of year accounts in a clear and precise way but also be willing to hand over their skills to support our small finance team. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has 3+ years work experience with budgeting and using Xero software. You should have a clear understanding of charity finance and be able to demonstrate experience of working in a small team. You will need a good working knowledge of Xero software and Microsoft packages plus an awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection. It is also important to the role that you have good verbal and written communications skills. In summary, our key priorities for the role are: - Must have Charity Finance experience - 3 years + general finance experience - Experience in Xero software and/or other financial software - Experience developing/implementing good financial practice - Have excellent written and communication skills - Must be able to commit 3 - 7 hours a week
