Volunteer Recruiter for Read Easy Evesham and Pershore

What will you be doing?

You will manage the recruitment process of all volunteers for your group, leading interviews with the Team Leader. Make sure all volunteers feel properly supported, informed, heard and valued. Working with the rest of your group to identify the best means of advertising to attract the volunteers you need. Manage the recruitment process for all potential volunteers and ensuring that an appropriate induction takes place. Ensuring that all volunteers expectations are managed appropriately and they have a successful induction into the group. Gaining feedback from Reading Coaches and taking any issues back to the Management Team. Ensuring compliance with Volunteer Policy and Equality Diversity and Inclusivity Policy. Attend Management meetings once a month - (in person and via Zoom) You will work closely with the Team Leader and be fully supported in your role.  

What are we looking for?

Experience of interviewing Confidence to promote the work of Read Easy and a commitment to improve the lives of people who struggle with reading. Good communication and people skills, with a commitment to maintaining confidentially. Experience in using IT - you will have an Office 365 online account. Ability to use initiative and work independently. Ability to abide by Read Easy policies and procedures. Energy and enthusiasm

Your input will help our small Management team to continue to support the adults in our local communities with their reading. We have been established for 4 years and have 6 Reading graduates already and a thriving team of 16 Reading Coaches currently teaching adults to read You will be a part of a small and friendly Management Team.
