The Role: In this role, you will design, develop, and improve software that supports business, platform, and technology capabilities at Barclays. You will deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions using industry-aligned languages and frameworks. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to meet business objectives is key. You will also participate in code reviews, apply secure coding practices, and stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
Job Requirements: Candidates should have at least 1.5+ years of experience in a technology-focused role, preferably with a background in Software or Data Engineering, Java, or JavaScript. You must be able to pass a technical assessment in Java and commit to completing a 16-week, part-time course. Availability to start a role with Barclays post-completion is required.
