Barclays, in partnership with Code First Girls, presents a singular opportunity for ambitious tech professionals looking to advance their careers. Through the Mid-Level Accelerator programme, you can transition into a more prominent stage at this multinational banking and financial services company. The role you'll be stepping into as a Mid-Level JavaScript Developer requires designing and building user-centric digital products using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS. As part of the team, you'll work together with product managers, developers, and analysts. Role Summary:

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a technology role

Barclays is partnering with Code First Girls to offer a unique opportunity through the Mid-Level Accelerator programme. This programme is designed to help individuals with 1.5+ years of experience in Software or Data Engineering, Java, or JavaScript, transition into mid-level technical roles at Barclays. The programme includes a free 16-week training course, with no hidden fees or costs, ensuring it is accessible to all participants.

The role: As a Mid-Level JavaScript Developer at Barclays, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-centric digital products and experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and analysts to translate requirements into compelling user experiences, create prototypes and wireframes, and apply user research and testing to improve design. You will use technologies such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS to deliver innovative and secure solutions.

Job requirements: Candidates must have at least 1.5 years of experience in a technology-focused role, a mind for data, and the ability to pass a technical assessment in JavaScript. Commitment to complete the 16-week, part-time course is essential.
