What will you be doing?
Role Purpose
To provide editorial support for our video and audio content.
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
Post virtual events to edit into smaller clips (shorts and individual presentations of speakers) and upload to YouTube in line with our content schedule. To edit podcast episodes and manage the release of these episodes on YouTube, Apple and Spotify. To create video content for the YouTube channel under the direction of our Vice Chair for Content. To monitor the analytics and data from YouTube and report these to the Strategy & Impact team.
Logistics This is a remote role, under the direction of the Vice Chair: Content but you will also liaise with our Podcast Producer, Virtual Events Lead and Vice Chair: Events & Community. Your role will sit within the Content team.
What are we looking for?
Person Specification
Have experience of video and audio editing. Has experience of using YouTube, Streamyard and other platforms such as Zoom. Is a good communicator. Is a self-starter. Can work remotely. Experience of managing virtual events (desirable). Good organisational and interpersonal skills. Has a good level of written English. Good sense of humour. Has access to a computer and a good internet connection. Aligns to the values and mission of Step Up.
