What will you be doing?
Crediton Heart Project runs a vibrant website showcasing the events, facilities and highlights of the town. We are seeking a Trustee to work with us to develop this website. In addition, we are seeking to establish a large centre offering arts, drama, music and a range of community activities to add to the cultural offer of the town. As the consultation, development and establishment of this centre progresses, we will need the skills of a Trustee with excellent communication skills. Would you like to join us?
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with communication experience. Ideally you will have experience in creating communication strategies, developing and maintaining social media channels and consulting with the public and local authorities. . You will preferably have a link to the town, maybe you live in the area. Maybe you will have some experience of running a charity, but that is not essential. If you have some experience in the arts and community sector, that would be great.
What difference will you make?
The website was started in Covid, but has developed to include Whats On, local events and festivals, offerings of shops and services as well as local walks etc. Would you like to be a part of developing this website to support the cultural and community offer of the town? In addition, as a Trustee on the board, you will be a part of creating a new arts and community building. We will bring in nationally reknown architects, a range of creatives and engage the local authorities and community groups. It will enable a much larger range of activities and cultural events to be offered to the growing town. Your skills in communication strategy and delivery will enable us to consult with the residents and the many groups operating here, and the local authorities, enabling everyone to participate in the project.
