What will you be doing?
Crediton Heart Project wants to establish a large centre offering arts, drama, music and a range of community activities to add to the cultural offer of the town. To do this we will need to raise about £5million for the building, and enable the website to become financially sustainable. Would you like to offer your expertise to support us to do this?
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with fundraising experience with charities. You will preferably have a link to the town, maybe you live in the area. Maybe you will have some experience of running a charity, but that is not essential. If you have some experience in the arts and community sector, that would be great.
What difference will you make?
As part of the board, you will help us to create this exciting building - we will bring in nationally reknown architects, a range of creatives and engage the local authorities and community groups. It will enable a much larger range of activities and cultural events to be offered to the growing town. Your role will be to enable the funding to be found to do this, as well as being a part of shaping the enterprise.
