What will you be doing?
We’re looking an enthusiastic person who can help us find new talent to help who tell the story of Black British heritage. They will help build new strategic plans, and suggest model for anticipating the skills we benefit from. They will have ideas about resourcing those needs through the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers. Responsibilities include:
With this being a new business function, you will be fundamental in establishing and designing new processes and building and creating best practice ways of working We hope that you will recruit 1-2 brilliant team members people to join your team and help with growing our "people power" Creating talent pipelines, interviewing and handling application Coordinating with Trustees to define necessary requirements for new roles Utilising resources and research and recommend new sourcing tools and techniques. Creating attractive content for talent engagement in line with our brand and collaborating with chief executive Suggest social media groups and professional networks to reach/ interact with potential candidates. Build strong and lasting relationships with volunteer candidates. Collaborate regularly with trustees and former supporters
What are we looking for?
People oriented, happy to meet online / or in person Proven work experience as a Recruiter or similar Hands-on experience with sourcing tools (e.g. CV databases and sites) Familiarity with CRM and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS’s) Excellent written and verbal communication and influential/persuasion abilities Time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously. Logical decision-making skills Ability to quickly build and sustain relationships with volunteers
