Volunteer Fire safety consultant

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an individual to support our Estates Manager with The Grange's Fire Safety.  We would really appreciate the help of someone who can support and advise on compliance and changes to legislation in relation to Fire Safety and Fire Risk Assessments.   The Grange has a site in Bookham and is also responsible for houses and flats in Bookham, Epsom, Leatherhead and Fetcham.  We are a diverse site with different types of and ages of accommodation.  We are looking for an individual with an understanding of fire and fire safety who can support us on our journey of continuous improvement in this area.

What are we looking for?

Experience of fire and fire safety legislation and registration and their implementation.  Experience of practises to ensure fire safety in relation to houses and offices.  If you have experience of working with a multisite organisation this would be useful.

What difference will you make?

You will support The Grange in ensuring its practise is as good as possible in relation to fire and fire safety, helping us to keep the members of The Grange community and The Grange's property safe from the risk of fire.
