We are seeking a Volunteer Project/Operations Manager to help run and develop the charity and across all services. Accountancy support also required for keep an eye on project budgets and producing finance reports.

What will you be doing?

We are a small volunteer lead charity trying to scale up. The Project/Operations Manager will take on the tasks currently covered by the CEO which include: 

Leading on our Careers Services for our partner schools Being the point of contact for our partner organisations Facilitation and coordination of various projects/events Potential attendance at some of our events to ensure the smooth running of the team Helping with creating surveys and strategies to better engage with our beneficiaries (children and young people of secondary school age) Assisting to manage and input in strategic planning for the operations team Coaching and mentoring new ROK members and ambassadors Dealing with any queries from ROK partners and third parties Being an ambassador of ROK and sharing our work with our Communications Team, providing statements where required Assisting with grant funding bids, helping to research and applying for appropriate grant funding for the development of the charity and across all services. Assisting with the recruitment of various individuals as required to fill skills gaps. You will work with the Trustee and Main Board to report back on your work on a monthly basis Overseeing project teams applying for bids. Assisting in the production of our annual reports, business plan and strategies. Reporting to the trustee board on the health of the charity.

Qualifications and experience

Experience developing individual program budgets Project management and event organisation experience Database or CRM system proficiency Experience with charitable governance
