About UKFilmNet: UKFilmNet is an innovative non-profit organization operating in the film and television production education sector. We're at the forefront of providing creative educational resources and are currently seeking a skilled Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about using their financial expertise to contribute to the creative education industry. The Role: We are looking for a Corporate Accountant with experience in small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) accounting, particularly within the third sector. The ideal candidate will offer their services to help manage our finances efficiently and advise on taxation and liability for our micro non-profit organization   Key Responsibilities:

Set up and manage simple, very small-volume payroll systems. (1-4 staff) PAYE Provide advice on efficient taxation and liability issues tailored to the needs of a micro non-profit in the creative education sector. Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Work closely with the management team to provide financial insights and guidance.

Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Work closely with the management team to provide financial insights and guidance.

Requirements:

Significant experience in corporate accountancy and financial consulting, preferably within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Familiarity with the financial needs and challenges of the third sector, especially in creative education. Excellent knowledge of taxation, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passionate about contributing to a non-profit organization in the creative sector.
