About Us: Somali Medical Aid Group is a registered charity in Somalia (2022) with an administrative office in London (2023). We operate in collaboration with a network of partner organizations, collectively striving to enhance public medical services in Somalia. We are looking for a Fundraising Assistant to join our team. What you do:
Develop and write funding proposals to foundations and other organizations; Execute proposal writing and grant applications; Conduct research and engage with various foundations and organizations to expand our fundraising network.
Requirements:
Knowledge of various fundraising techniques and strategies for prospective donor sourcing; Motivated to work in a dynamic and emerging organization; Highly organized with proven experience in fundraising for charities from both charitable and corporate organizations; Strong communication skills.
