What will you be doing?
We are looking for a new addition to our HR volunteer team and have created an exciting new role. The charity needs someone to liaise with the volunteer talent we have, to check in and help develop each of the volunteers who are working with us. It is worth making note that this role will evolve over time, subsequently this person will be proactive in being part of this, see the bigger picture, have excellent people and leadership skills whilst making viable recommendations for the charity to continuously improve. Key Responsibilities
Help create and promote a positive volunteer culture and experience
Regularly check in with volunteers, schedule calls and meetings
Be proactive and communicate key information to senior leaders
Create structure to the communication and help build a bigger picture
Confident in dealing with potential conflict
Drive methods to review performance
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone approachable, friendly, proactive, adaptable, solution focused and confident that help us to get the best from our volunteers
Ability to prioritise and escalate queries Understanding of Customer Relations Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Easy to approach and able to provide constructive feedback Able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business Flexible and adaptable
What difference will you make?
The charity is going through an exciting period of restructure, this role will really help senior leaders to understand what’s happening on the ground to make strategic decisions. This role will have a big impact on influencing new and existing volunteers, helping create and manage a positive experience for everyone.
