What will you be doing?

Contribute to Strategic Planning: Collaborate with fellow board members to shape and define the strategic direction of the charity. Your insights and ideas will play a vital role in setting our organisational goals and priorities in the field of education. Fundraising and Resource Mobilization: Participate in fundraising efforts to support our educational initiatives, helping secure resources for the betterment of education in the Greater London area. Advocacy and Community Engagement: Act as an ambassador for Heritage Charity London, engaging with stakeholders, partners, and the community to raise awareness and support for our mission to improve education. Governance and Oversight: Provide governance oversight and actively participate in board meetings, ensuring compliance with the organisation's bylaws and legal obligations. Collaborative Decision-Making: Work collaboratively with fellow board members, sharing your expertise and contributing to informed decision-making processes in the realm of education. Qualifications:

A strong passion for education and a commitment to improving educational opportunities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas. Previous board experience or experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

Time Commitment:

Quarterly board meetings (approximately 1 hours each). Involvement in subcommittees or working groups as needed. Availability for occasional events and fundraisers.
