Role Summary

Role Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in government relations or related fields, preferably in the NGO or development sector.
- Proven experience in regulating processes like permits, authorizations, and compliance-related documentations.
- Proficiency in drafting government reports and official correspondence.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is mandatory.
- French and Lingala fluency; basic knowledge of Kikongo is a bonus.

The Role: As a Local Government Officer, you will represent the Government Relations Department in engagements with provincial and local authorities. This includes attending official meetings, invitations, and working sessions. Your primary responsibilities will be to ensure that One Acre Fund's operations comply with provincial and local regulations, facilitate information sharing and communication, and provide support to internal teams.
Job Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in government relations, public administration, or regulatory compliance, preferably in the NGO or development sector. - Proven experience in managing regulatory processes such as permits, authorizations, and compliance documentation. - Strong skills in drafting official reports and government correspondence. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. - Fluency in French and Lingala; knowledge of Kikongo is an advantage.
