What will you be doing?

We provide classroom teaching and individual tutoring in English to both adults and children, to supplement English classes provided by Darlington College.

What are we looking for?

You will need:

At least 3 years' practical experience of teaching or training  An appreciation of phonics teaching methods Good written and spoken English Supportive and friendly style Patience To be approachable and sensitive to the feelings of others Cultural sensitivity

You don't need to have a teaching qualification, you may have training experience or simply be a highly effective communicator who can explain things clearly and help others understand.
