What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced technology professional, preferably with direct experience of database configuration and manipulation. Giving is Great consolidates data from multiple sources, including the Charities Commissions of England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, Companies House, 360Giving and CharityBase. The information is delivered via a WordPress website, mainly using PHP to process data. An algorithm has been developed to analyse the data and apply scoring to charities which determines the default sort order for searches and creates commentary to help viewers identify potential areas of inquiry. We need to be on the lookout for additional data sources and to enhance the way in which the service is provided

We are seeking a Technology professional, preferably with experience of the charity sector and a desire to improve the quality of information available to potential donors.
What difference will you make?
We want to grow the number of regular users of the service. This will improve the efficiency of grantmakers and should lower the costs of fundraising for the most effective charities.
