What will you be doing?

Role Objective: Drive dynamic online engagements to resonate with our audience, amplifying the foundation's voice on digital platforms. Core Tasks:

Digital Engagement:

Create and curate compelling content for our social media channels, spotlighting our initiatives, achievements, and stories. Forge online relationships with communities, influencers, and stakeholders, expanding our digital footprint.

Content Strategy:

Collaborate with the Content Creation Team to design campaigns that speak directly to the needs of individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Ensure messaging consistency across platforms, reinforcing the foundation's ethos.

Feedback & Analytics:

Monitor online engagements, collecting data on audience sentiments, and feedback. Work alongside the Data Analyst to understand these metrics, adapting strategies for improved online presence.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Join forces with various foundation departments, ensuring that digital initiatives complement wider organizational goals.

Advocacy & Campaigns:

Stay abreast of global dementia-related digital trends. Collaborate on digital campaigns that address community challenges and inform about dementia care. Amplify online community voices, making sure their stories and concerns are represented.

Collaboration: While the Social Media Manager will lead our digital efforts, they will not work in isolation. They will closely collaborate with the Content Creation Team, Data Analyst, and other departments. Regular check-ins will be organized with our communications head to ensure alignment with the foundation's overall goals. Flexibility: Understanding that the digital world is ever-evolving, this role description isn't set in stone. We value innovative ideas and approaches. If a volunteer sees an opportunity for improvement or a fresh tactic, we're all ears! Our primary aim is to serve our mission and community best, and we believe in adapting to achieve that.

What are we looking for?

Digital Expertise: Proficiency in various social media platforms (like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more) and an understanding of their unique algorithms and user dynamics. Knowledge of tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social would be advantageous.

Content Creation: An eye for crafting engaging posts, stories, and visuals. Ability to tailor content to different platforms and audiences, ensuring consistent messaging while keeping it fresh and appealing.

Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to monitor performance, user engagement, and trends. Ability to interpret this data to refine strategies and maximize impact.

Strategic Planning: Capability to devise robust social media strategies that align with the foundation's objectives, ensuring the best reach and engagement.

Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that the foundation's voice remains consistent, compelling, and authentic across all platforms.
