Volunteer PR Executive – Health Media

What will you be doing?

This is how you will support SEDSConnective through your skills:

Be the media pitching expert focused on health sector within the UK.  Develop media contacts database using desk research and free tools. Develop media hooks and talking points. Update these as required. Manage media meetings and run key media event sessions. Assist with media monitoring and evaluating the metrics for success. Maintain a calendar of opportunities by partnering with Communications and PR Lead. Lastly, we understand that this is a voluntary role, so you will get to work with another colleague on shared basis.

Experience with media pitching and knowledge of free-to-use PR tools. Excellent copywriting skills for creating the copy materials. Motivation and energy to help drive each initiative. Ability to work in a team set-up. Awareness of team collaboration tools, such as Teams and Slack. Time management skills to be able to devote time for a good cause. Be your own boss. Be creative. Be a thinker and a doer.
