What will you be doing?

We are a Community Interest Company and social enterprise and the successful candidate will be working with the Founder and senior leadership team. We are looking for a ESG Governance and Sustainability professional to advise and work with our senior leadership team on our strategy and policy across these areas. In particular we are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to advise and draw up guidelines on best practice on ESG, CSR, sustainability and due diligence. You will join a dynamic and highly professional and committed international team of volunteers all or whom work and support each other remotely. Meetings are conducted via zoom as no travel is necessary, other than to the Prize Awards for which all expenses will covered by us.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an exceptional candidate inspired by our vision and mission and the Prizes and associated causes and who wants to be part of their success. The ideal candidate will be an experienced ESG Governance and Sustainability professional ideally at operational and governance level although relevant transferable skills will be considered. A previous role with Challenge or Innovation Prizes and Awards events would be a distinct advantage but not essential. The ideal candidate will work remotely as part of our highly professional and dynamic international team of volunteers based all over the world.  Candidate Specification: 

Advise on design and implementation of best practise across ESG Governance and Sustainability strategy and policy  Advise on comprehensive ESG Governance and Sustainability Prize goals and outcomes Advise on ESG Governance and Sustainability initiatives to raise awareness to promote the prize challenge causes. Advise on ESG Governance and Sustainability performance evaluation and impact analysis Assist in drawing up the selection and ESG Governance and Sustainability due diligence criteria for potential ethical sponsors Option to join Expert Working Group on ESG Governance and Sustainability. 

Requirements

Proven experience and track record as a ESG Governance and Sustainability C-suite professional at Governance level or as entrepreneur or Consultant or other senior level. Relevant corporate, academic and or legal qualifications or appropriate transferable skills Membership of relevant industry associations a bonus
