Volunteer Trustee with fundraising experience to join Africa Community Development Charity

What will you be doing?

The charity works closely with the community and other great partners to support water projects, sustainable farming projects, and education and training in health, business startups and more.  In the last couple of years we have been working to help schools in the region repair leaking water tanks, set up rain water harvesting facilities and build latrines.  Our great partnerships in Africa mean that we can get things done in the way that the community needs whilst also having the access and transparency we require to ensure funds are spent correctly and efficiently.

What are we looking for?

Fundraising skills and experience (minimum 3 years) Passionate about fundraising and proactive to engage donors

What difference will you make?

We need someone who can help with guidance and decision making for future fundraising as well as the skills and desire to get stuck in and help us raise the funds we need for our next project.  Our next project is still in discussion and you would be able to join us in identifying what that should be and where we can make a big difference.  It may be bringing clean water to 100s of children at a school, setting up small businesses to earn sustainable incomes or a farming project to grow food or rear animals.  You would then be able to advise and help us in engaging donors to get involved.  If you have any questions or feel this opportunity is right for you, we would love to hear from you!
