What will you be doing?
Tasks and responsibilities Assist in the recruitment, training, and management of team members. Develop service links with youth services - schools, colleges, clubs, homes etc. Assists with service promotion by visiting public spaces, and responding to requests for visits (i.e. immigration detention centres, prison services). Collaborate with all other providers, to improve access to MyHealthnet's services, projects and training and signposting service. To ensure that the online information service accurately reflects service provision and organisation interests. Ensure that the details of all organisations and services on websites are accurate and updated regularly. Assist with the management and facilitation of quarterly project advisory youth and members group meetings. Liaise with funders, provide quarterly reports and attend quarterly monitoring meetings as requested by the Director. Manage telephone information service effectively and ensure that callers receive accurate information. Collect feedback from users of the information service, together with other data (such as caller and web statistics), and produce monitoring and evaluation reports using this information from data entry, analysis, policy, research, dissemination, monitoring, evaluation etc. Attend meetings (internally and externally), training and regular supervision as required. To assist in the organisation of such meetings. Assist with group supervision for volunteers and arrange staff and trustee training Undertake a range of administration tasks, like maintaining shared office calendars, updating whiteboards, distributing posts, filing, and purchases. Keep staff, trustees, volunteers and members informed of events and relevant information. Assist in HR-related tasks (maintaining confidentiality at all times), such as: Process CRB applications Create and update personnel files Keep current induction packs for volunteers Respond to recruitment ads, student placement enquiries Submit employer contributions, via its website Record and respond to phone calls and messages. Maintain regular contact with donors and suppliers, and submit meter readings. Assist with expense claims.

Key skills and competencies Essential
Experience in providing excellent customer service. Skilled in ITC and website administration, with the ability to organise, analyse and present information for a variety of purposes. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (intermediate or advanced standard), with the ability to input data on databases and use website software. Experience in developing and reviewing systems and procedures for administration, use, storage, communications, and customer service. Experience in collating, recording and analysing information, and presenting the results electronically and manually. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, incl. good standard of literacy and numeracy, experience in producing reports, letters, minutes, tables and publicity materials to a high standard. Knowledge and understanding of equality issues, with the commitment to apply these to services. Excellent interpersonal, team and partnership working skills, across team and organisational boundaries. Ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise a workload, and gain experience in solving routine problems. Social media fluent and skilled in information gathering and dissemination and security awareness.
Desirable
Experience in collecting monitoring information for projects and participating in the evaluation. Experience running a membership scheme. Experience working with a diverse range of communities. Knowledge and understanding of customer service standards and best practice. Ability to adapt to take additional roles or multi-tasking as directed and using transferable skills. Experience in leading and managing projects independently (although assistance is provided). Experience working with youth organisations, education departments, youth hostels, youth clubs or associations, Healthwatch, regulatory bodies, research, data gathering, umbrella organisation 'HTR communities' and service commissioning. willingness to learn, develop their role and represent MyHealthnet at meetings. Ideal candidates will be responsible and accountable for their work, team members, and the overall success of local projects undertaken for MyHealthnet.
What difference will you make?
MyHealthnet's Information Associate will be responsible for developing the information and digital communication strategy to improve communication with stakeholders, including supporting the health and well-being of gender-diverse youth. They will also work on technical donations and develop essential tools and training programs to implement a digital strategy. In addition to this, the Information Associates will assist with recruiting and supporting members and collaborating to improve the service efficiency and effectiveness of delivering services to our service users and partners. They will also articulate MyHealthnet’s transformation journey and communications pathways with teams within the organisation. The Information Associate will also develop specialised data and information management systems, and better define the impact of our services. This will help us to measure and report on our deliverables more effectively. As a result, MyHealthnet will be able to demonstrate its impact more easily to donors and other stakeholders, which could lead to increased funding and support.
