What will you be doing?
(A) Programme Management and Oversight:
Advises and leads programmatic cooperation in the area of women's empowerment based on youth priorities, IYF Global Programme objectives and best global practices and lessons learned; Ensures annual planning and management programme activities including development of an outcome programme document and programme monitoring plan; Leads the delivery of relevant programme activities; identifies modalities to achieve programme targets; Provides direction and ensures quality inputs into GP risk management, monitoring and evaluation systems; Facilitates high quality engagement with stakeholders, including through regular meetings of the Programme Board, for strategic steering of programme activities in line with the Global Programme.
(B) Support Partnerships and resource mobilization efforts:
Advocates for IYF with government counterparts at all levels, with non-state actors and development partners; networks and helps build credible working relations and effective partnerships; Prioritizes identifying and building new partnerships to support programme implementation including monitoring/reporting of IYF projects and activities, provision of training to counterparts, and provision of policy and analytic advisory services; Ensures reporting of programme results with a focus on sustainability and on value for money; develops and pursues effective communication for programme results and public outreach; and Develops and implements resource mobilization strategies in the area of women's empowerment to achieve programme results; identifies synergies with development partners and pursues targeted resource mobilization.

Experience A minimum of three years of experience and results preferred in programme management, international development, youth empowerment role, development, communications, international relations, youth studies, sport, women empowerment, youth-led organizations or another relevant field.
