Volunteer Branch Trustee – Income Generation Lead

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person with a background in income generation who could devote their time to volunteer as a trustee for our Branch and support us in maximising the revenue generated. Monthly Committee Meetings are generally 2-3 hours in duration. Above that, we are looking for someone with the right attitude to lead and drive our animal welfare charity. Ideally you can devote an average of 2-3 hours per week to this. The position is home-based, and currently, committee meetings are held virtually.

Alongside income generation experience, we are looking for someone who is committed to the RSPCA’s charitable objectives and shares our passion for animal welfare. You would be creative, innovative, bring a fresh perspective, and can put ideas into action. You will need to be able to work with people and have good interpersonal skills. You do not need to be an expert although commitment, common sense, and the ability to be objective are vital.

Alongside passing on your expertise, this opportunity will allow you to influence how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals and drive the implementation of key initiatives. You will serve on the governing body of the charity and be instrumental, alongside fellow trustees, in running the Branch and setting out both the short and long term aims.
