Volunteer Technology Trustee

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a Trustee who is a leading light in the Technology sector so that we can better support our community. Geek.Zone is developing the Geek.Zone/Web platform to allow a Geek.Zone member to do everything they need to do as a member, all in one place on a fully self-service basis. We also intend to white-label this, so that other organisations can benefit from it too. As a member of the Open Source Initiative, this and everything we do is fully open source. Last year, our Technology Trustee was Amanda Brock, CEO of OpenUK. This year, we are seeking a Trustee who can carry on her good work and help Geek.Zone to thrive. We want to respect your time, so require a minimum of just one biannual video meeting. Ideally, you would want to be more involved as a proactive member of the team. Location is not important to us, though if you want to visit our Coventry, London or Chelmsford events on occasion, you would be most welcome. Your help will be pivotal in the future of Geek.Zone so get in touch today!

As a Technology Professional, you will have had a significant level of experience across the field. You will be confident in your ability to advise to ensure the best outcomes from a Technology perspective.
