What will you be doing?
Key areas of your role will focus • Set and maintain the vision, mission and values of the charity with regards to fundraising • Ensure the charity complies with charity law requirements and other laws that apply to the charity • Ensure the charity’s resources are responsibly managed • Act in, and further, the charity’s best interests.
What are we looking for?
• Professional charity fundraising knowledge, notably in individual giving (including digital), corporate and major donor fundraising and community fundraising • Knowledge of the UK charity fundraising sector • Strategic planning skills • Data analysis skills.
What difference will you make?
As a member of the Board of Trustees you will help set the strategic aims, objectives and direction of the charity. The fundraising skills and knowledge you bring will enhance the Board and support AVPB in achieving its charitable objectives.
