What will you be doing?
To act as a Trustee, attend twelve meetings per year, normally on a weekend, and contribute to the Charity developing & maintaining a finance strategy to move RACC - UK forward to ensure its financial security and future growth. Responsible for increasing our fundraising activity and generating income, writing convincing bids and approaching Trusts, Foundations, and other funders. To also promote more fundraising activity on an on-going basis to enable the Charity to continue and improve its services to patients, carers, and families.
What are we looking for?
Someone with experience of working within the charity sector, and who has experience of fundraising possibly through organising events, but also with the ability to research and write convincing bids to appropriate funders. To join a small friendly team of enthusiastic and committed Trustees who wish to enhance the service we provide, ensuring financial sustainability for the future. Experience in:
FUNDRAISING EVENTS FUNDRAISING RESEARCH / BID WRITING FUNDRAISING STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT INCOME GENERATION FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT COMMISSIONING / CONTRACTING EXPERIENCE IN CHARITY LAW IN ENGLAND AND WALES

Patients in the UK with Autoinflammatory conditions have often endured a long delay to diagnosis which impacts on long-term health and quality of life. Autoinflammatory conditions are Rare genetic conditions which often leave patients feeling vulnerable and isolated with little support. RACC – UK believes that no patient should have to suffer on their own.
