What will you be doing?

Fundraising, events bidding and searching are some of your priorities amongst others. Aims of Post Our priority is growing MyHealthnet's financial resources and unlimited income. Raising passive income and other forms of resources (e.g., restricted funds for programmes, sponsorship, convertible donations). Job description and activities The Role of the Fundraisers This is a demanding and exciting time for the MyHealthnet fundraising team to generate income from corporate social giving, grant-making trusts, lottery distributors, national, statutory, and non-statutory sources etc. The role holder will be required to work in partnership with MyHealthnet managers and other members of the project delivery teams, to determine funding requirements, generate and maximise income, contribute to the design of new and developing projects, manage relationships with funders and sponsors, school, and college-age fundraisers, and establishing bottle fundraising collection points etc. Assisting with developing and implementing ambitious fundraising strategies aimed at achieving the organisation's targets.  Support the fundraising lead, recruit and line managing Children and Young people Fundraisers.  Assisting with the collection of and providing key intelligence on new funding streams and work to enhance the profile of MyHealthnet within sector funders and potential funders. Attending various marketing and fundraising meetings promptly acting on tips submitting applications and monitoring outcomes as well as project delivery using the raised funds.  Developing relationships between MyHealthnet and schools, colleges, and groups to set up work placements for fundraisers and organise social fundraising events within communities. Taking part in national fundraising and organising local and regional events with volunteers and supporters. Assisting with developing and managing fundraising income streams for projects, special and general capital running costs. Assisting volunteer training and development programmes. Updating information responding to donor enquiries and providing video feedback. Creating monthly and quarterly written reports of all fundraising activities and project delivery. Phone calls and other duties will be developed in furtherance of the role.

This position will be suited to a result-focused, resourceful, highly creative, and motivated individual with a successful record of accomplishment of fundraising from a range of sources.  It helps if you possess the qualifications described below and or if you have some experience fundraising and managing a project.  You may also have other transferable skills and experience that have not been indicated yet as essential to this position.  Please feel confident to apply, you will receive relevant support and training. Educated to degree level (or equivalent analytical and writing skills) - Essential Excellent writing, project management and budgeting skills - Essential Knowledge of the voluntary sector and a range of potential sources of funding for voluntary organisations - Desirable

Experience

Extensive experience working in a fundraising or marketing environment - Essential Experience in securing support from at least two: government departments, companies’ European sources, and grant-making trusts - Essential Staff management experience - Desirable Experience in managing budgets - Desirable Experience in building relationships and working in partnership with a range of organisations - Essential Experience in recognising opportunities and developing approaches to new funders/customers as well as servicing relationships with existing funders/customers - Essential
