What will you be doing?
The Be Free Campaign are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic social media manager who is as excited as we are about letting people know of all the work we do in the community! This role would include the following responsibilities:
Liaising with our friendly team of social media volunteers to ensure everyone is getting involved and on task Help steer the direction of our social media to help increase engagement and impact Liaising with the CEO and operations manager regularly to ensure the charity vision aligns with the branding and social media Be available for monthly ideation meetings to discuss plans and aims Using our collaborative platform, Slack to communicate with the team
All of these responsibilities will be supported by the rest of the team and other charity leadership as you see fit, so discussions around different levels of involvement are also doable when interviewing for the role.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about mental health with experience in managing a professional social media. Knowledge of analytics is important to us to understand how we can best engage people with our message. The successful applicant would be working with a team of around 10 friendly volunteers, so experience in management would be ideal.
What difference will you make?
Social media is now one of the most important ways of raising awareness and getting people involved in social causes. By undertaking this role you'd be enabling the fantastic work of the Be Free Campaign to be shared and aiding the breaking down of stigma around mental health.
