Volunteer Trustee Treasurer

What will you be doing?

The board consists of seven trustees with a range of skills ranging from project management, child protection, and journalism We are seeking a Treasurer who is passionate, motivated, with excellent finance skills and knowledge of grants and bids, who can commit the time to help drive the charity forward to its next growth stage. Knowledge of grants and bids would be an advantage  The ability to communicate financial information to to the numerically challenge is a must.

What are we looking for?

Competent use of IT skills. Proven ability to communicate and explain financial information to members of the Board and other stakeholders. Experience with bookkeeping and business accounting (essential) Skills in financial planning, investment, forecasting, and management (desired) Analytical and evaluation skills, demonstrating good judgement. Understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship. Good communication and leadership skills Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks (essential)
