What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will work directly with the Founder & CEO and the senior management team to plan and lead the sponsorship fundraising campaign. We are looking for an experienced and well-networked sponsorship professional with strong credibility and presentation skills who will enjoy working with us to plan and deliver big ticket sponsorship for our Humanitarian Care Prize Awards. Preference is for a mix of related or transferable skills including campaign sponsorship lead generation, excellent sponsorship negotiation, good knowledge of sponsorship contracts and a strong closer.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be an experienced corporate sponsorship professional or with relevant transferable skills and with a proven track record of successful high value sponsorship deals who would enjoy working with a social enterprise. We are looking for a volunteer with the following skills:
The creative leadership, experience and organisational ability to plan, project manage and deliver or to lead a team to deliver the sponsorship for the Prize Awards. Alignment with our Statement of Principles Sponsorship campaign planning to accurate and achievable targets and timetable. Researching target sponsors aligned to our Statement of Principles Sponsorship negotiation and strong closing skills Alignment of sponsors with our PR, Media and Communications campaign. Inform the digital marketing strategy to support your sponsorship fundraising. Excellent proposal writing skills (with support from digital marketing team.) Advise on additional resources / sponsorship team if or as required
What difference will you make?
As Sponsorship Fundraising Lead you will play an important role as part of our senior team promoting our causes to inspire significant change for the better targeting youth. Following successful sponsorship of our Humanitarian Care Prize Awards you will also have the option to work on our subsequent Prize Awards for Peace, Climate and CSR.
