What will you be doing?

The role of MyHealthnet Service Manager is ideally suited for an individual with a civic mindset, dedicated to the health and well-being of youth, and possessing a strong desire to serve. This role involves aiding and supporting the provision of services to vulnerable and hard-to-reach individuals under 25 years old.  Our ideal candidates should have management-level experience in one or more of the following areas: health and/or social work, public service, charity sector development or administration, resource development, or housing.  The individual who is appointed for the role is expected to be ready to start volunteering immediately and should be able to:• Efficiently and discretely• Communicate effectively with senior representatives from VSO member organisations, government departments, MPs, the media, and other stakeholders• Possess proficient computer skills, including word processing• Have good administrative skills• Be self-motivated• Demonstrate strong diary management skills• Possess good general management and volunteer management skills• Have good resource development and management abilities The position is split between two managers who work both remotely and locally when required, and this arrangement is open to negotiation. What are we looking for?

The service Management role is shared between two managers working remotely, and sometimes locally – negotiable.   You welcome the challenge of helping to restructure MyHealthnet youth sexual health service using administrative and technical skills.  You are sympathetic with good communication and interpersonal skills. You have various transferrable professional and life skills required for managing service and people of different abilities. Hard-working, dynamic, flexible, and efficient leader, who can coach and mentor junior members of the team. Creative and Resourceful in development and management and supporting fundraising and MyHealthnet shop. Passionate about delivering person-centred youth health service and Understanding of youth sexual health and wellbeing service needs. Ability to take own initiative and contribute ideas for service improvement and Ability to work according to MyHealthnet Guidelines and policies.
