Off the Curriculum (OTC), an educational charity, is looking for an ‘Educo’ (OTC’s educational platform) Officer to collect and review the educational content created by student volunteers on a variety of subjects.

What will you be doing?
Main duties of the role of:
Reviewing scripts from student volunteers on topics related to their subjects prior to filming educational content for EDUCO Communicating and scheduling with students their filming schedules for EDUCO Prior to release on OTC’s website, reviewing filmed EDUCO videos for clarity of communication, accuracy of content, and ease of visualisation (e.g. animations, transitions, captions, etc)
Length of role: Open-ended Hours of work: 4 to 7 hours per week (estimated)
What are we looking for?
Skills the Educo Officer should have: Essential:
Experience in the educational sector Passion for education and a drive to explore new topics Good written communication skills in English, to review the clarity and quality of written scripts Organisational and time-management skills
Desirable:
Familiarity with the G-suite - google docs, sheets, meet
What difference will you make?
The successful candidate would greatly help the organising of filming sessions and keeping track of the educational content created by the volunteers. They would also have an impact on the quality of the content created by the Charity for its participants, therefore making their learning experience more enjoyable.
