Role Summary

  • Collaborate with the Senior Business Development Manager and SDR team to identify new business opportunities in the DACH region.
  • Engage in prospecting efforts to expand Busuu's presence and reach.
  • Play a key role in the company's ambitious growth trajectory with ample opportunities for personal advancement.

Role Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in sales or similar commercial roles.
  • Fluency in German.
  • Exceptional communication skills across various platforms including phone, email, LinkedIn, and video.
  • Proven ability to identify and engage key stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and enhance performance.
  • Eager to learn, develop, and contribute to team improvement.
  • Experience with sales tools like Hubspot and LinkedIn SalesNavigator is a plus.
  • Experience selling to the DACH market and relevant sales certifications are advantageous.

The role We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial person to help us grow in the DACH business market. You will be working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager and fellow SDRs to prospect new opportunities. This role is on the leading edge of our expansion with fantastic opportunities for progression within Busuu as we continue to grow.

Job requirements Essential Skills & Experience: Demonstrated commercial success in previous roles, German language fluency, Strong written and verbal communication skills via phone, email and social selling channels (linkedin & video), Ability to connect with prospects and seek out key stakeholders, Proven creative problem-solving approach, Strong analytical skills able to track and measure and improve your personal performance, Ambitious with a hunger to learn and develop, Test, measure & share mindset so we can become better as a team.

Bonus Skills & Experience: Tech savvy and familiar using tools such as Hubspot, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Outreach etc, Direct experience of selling to companies in DACH market, Sales certifications/training.
