Role Summary:

  • Develop and enhance supplier quality to meet our rigorous standards.
  • Strategically shape and execute our Supplier Quality Management Program.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Product, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Report to our Quality Lead and play a pivotal role in our growth.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in food science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supplier audits within the food industry.
  • Proficiency in GFSI standards, FSSC 22000, and BRC Scheme preferred.
  • Excellent project management, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.

We are Tony's Chocolonely, an exciting and revolutionary chocolate company based in Amsterdam. We are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to join our Quality team.

The Role: As the newest addition to our team, your primary goal will be to develop actual and potential suppliers to meet our quality & food safety standards, ensuring exceptional product quality for our customers. In the midst of our exciting growth, we are striving for a more structured and aligned approach. Your role will be key to strategically shape and execute our Supplier Quality Management Program in our organization. You will work closely with our Quality, Procurement, Product and Manufacturing teams, reporting directly to our Quality Lead.

Job Requirements: The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or master's degree in food or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in conducting supplier audits within the food industry. In-depth knowledge of GFSI standards, with a preference for experience with FSSC 22000 and BRC Scheme is required. Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong analytical skills are also necessary. Previous work experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment is a plus. The ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time is required.
