Role Summary
- Oversee the P&L and CAPEX for Tony's Factory (De Laet).
- Analyze factory performance, cost prices, and gross profit margins.
- Evaluate ROI for new production initiatives.
- Generate data-driven insights through financial analysis and trend identification.
- Execute planning and control cycles, including monthly reporting, budgeting, and developing a 3-year plan.
- Collaborate with colleagues at headquarters and be a vital part of the local factory management team.
- Manage IT and ERP system relationships within the factory for accurate financial insights.

We are looking for a new Business Controller to strengthen our factory team in Borsbeek, Belgium! In this role, you will oversee the P&L of Tony's Bar Factory, create insight by analyzing the cost prices of goods and you create insights into the factory performance. You bear responsibility in this role around assessing the factory performance, analyzing cost prices and gross profit margins, evaluating the return on investment for new production initiatives, and delivering insights to facilitate informed decision making. As a Business Controller, you have full control over the P&L and CAPEX of Tony's Factory (De Laet). Core tasks in this role are making reports, analyzing financial results, and identifying trends to generate data-driven insights. You are also responsible for executing the planning and control cycle, including monthly reporting, budgeting, and developing a 3-year plan, all in close collaboration with your colleagues from Business Control at our headquarters in Amsterdam. In addition, you play a decisive role in ensuring smooth factory operations as part of the local management team of De Laet. As part of the management team of the Bar Factory, you have detailed knowledge of all operational aspects and the factory team, enabling you to generate the insights that help to effectively steer the factory. You are also responsible for IT within the factory, where the relationship with our ERP system is particularly important. The correct input must ensure the correct insights. Furthermore, you are the first point of contact within the factory for all financial aspects, where you have the support from the Homebase team in Amsterdam to pick this up. This is a role for a personal contributor who reports directly to the Business Planning and Performance team in Amsterdam. In addition, you work closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing Lead.
