We have an exciting opportunity for retail professionals to join the Finisterre team at our fantastic St Ives store.

Finisterre is a pioneering B-Corps certified outdoor clothing brand, Founded by Tom Kay in 2003. Based a few hundred metres from the crashing Atlantic, Finisterre was born to inspire a love of the sea. Never afraid to lead and push boundaries, we have grown from humble beginnings to become one the most exciting brands in its sector today - and we’re only just getting started.

From our cliff top workshop in St. Agnes, Cornwall and in our eleven retail locations across the UK, we stay true to our original design ethos of functionality and sustainability brought to life in an understated style and identity. We take a pioneering approach to making better and more sustainable product, challenging and innovating, seeking alternatives to what has gone before. We’re committed to making informed decisions about our impact on the environment and are constantly trying to push boundaries to make the best product we can.

As the company grows and moves forward, we are looking to increase our retail footprint, making our stores exciting places where the strong brand and product narrative can be brought to life. A place where new and returning customers can experience exceptional service and meet knowledgeable and friendly staff.

As Supervisor, you will be a positive and influential role model to your retail team. You will support the Store Management in the day to day running of our store, ensuring outstanding levels of customer service, that our stores look and feel amazing, and that our staff members are motivated, informed and ready to deliver an exceptional Finisterre experience to anyone who walks through our doors.

Requirements

·        You will need previous experience in a leadership role within a retail or customer focussed environment. Retail experience within a premium apparel brand who share Finisterre’s brand ethos would be preferable.

·        You will like to lead by example whilst being a big team player. You enjoy motivating and supporting others to work towards a common goal.

·        You will need passion for our product and enjoy building your own knowledge as well as enjoy to help educate others.

·        You will need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday and don’t mind the occasional late shift when we have in-store events.

·        The right to work in the UK.
