Role Summary
- Provide comprehensive administrative and editorial support for the film and media list.
- Contribute to books published in collaboration with the British Film Institute (BFI).
- Assist with the digital resource Screen Studies within the Visual Arts team.
- Gain invaluable experience in various aspects of publishing, especially in highly visual titles.
Role Requirements
- Based in central London with exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a keen visual sense.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to work independently.
- Prior publishing experience and knowledge of film and media are beneficial.

The Role - What the role entails We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking Editorial Assistant to provide administrative and editorial support for our film and media list and books published as part of our partnership with the British Film Institute (BFI), and for our digital resource Screen Studies. The role is within the Visual Arts team, part of our academic division. This is an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand about a broad range of activities across the publishing business, particularly in relation to highly visual titles, and develop the key skills required for a career in publishing.
Job Requirements - Any requirements mentioned The successful candidate will join a friendly team based in our central London offices. The role requires exceptional organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good visual sense, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Some prior publishing experience and interest in and knowledge of film and media would be an advantage.
