Role Summary
- Provide vital marketing and publicity support for a diverse range of books.
- Work closely with the Academic Marketing team to promote textbooks, trade titles, monographs, and guides.
- Report to the Senior Marketing Manager, contributing to an award-winning division.

- Familiarity with ESP/CMS software and Adobe Creative Cloud (desirable).
- Understanding of the British media landscape (desirable).

The Role We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our award-winning and expanding Academic & Professional books Division. You will be working in a pivotal support role on marketing and publicity across our range of academic and professional books, from textbooks to trade crossover titles to monographs and professional guides. This role reports in to a Senior Marketing Manager in the Academic Marketing team.
Job Requirements Essential: Passionate about marketing and its role in academic publishing, Excellent organisational and time management skills, Outstanding attention to detail, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, A can-do attitude and enthusiasm for supporting team members.
Desirable: Relevant experience in publishing and/or marketing, ideally within an academic or professional environment, Experience of working in an office environment, Experience working with administrative systems and/or databases, Knowledge of ESP and/or CMS software, Knowledge of software in the Adobe Creative Cloud, Knowledge of the British media landscape.
