Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
  • Preference for experience in multinational corporate FP&A functions.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite).
  • BI tool familiarity (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.

The role entails supporting the financial planning and analysis activities related to operating expenses within Busuu. Reporting to, and working closely with, the FP&A Director, you will play a key part in driving insights, providing analysis, and developing financial models to support decision-making processes. You will be comfortable collaborating with teams across the business, applying your financial and analytical mind-set to help meet our growth targets.

Job requirements include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on operating expenses analysis. Knowledge of GAAP and financial principles is required. Experience in a corporate FP&A function within a multinational corporation is preferred. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning) is a must. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) is a must and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) are a plus.
