About Marshmallow We started Marshmallow when we found out how unfair insurance prices are for people who move to the UK. We saw an opportunity to do things differently, so we made it our mission to back the ones who step outside the norm. We serve people that are often overlooked by financial services companies, solving important problems for people who need it most.

The Role As a Motor Engineer Technical Support, you will be working closely with our existing in-house Engineers. Your responsibilities will include analysing each claim and making decision on best course for claim, ensuring repairable cases are authorised within SLA at best commercial terms for the business, and responding to internal/external technical queries in a timely and professional manner.

Job Requirements We are looking for someone with knowledge or an understanding of industry repair estimating systems, relevant trade experience in vehicle repairs, and experience of working in or with a Motor Engineering department environment or in a VDA role. Experience with Audatex would be ideal.

Benefits We offer flexible working, a competitive bonus scheme, a flexible benefits budget, mental wellbeing support, learning and development opportunities, private health care, a medical cash plan, and a tech scheme.

Application Details Our process includes an initial call with one of our TA Partners, a task to be completed in the given timeframe, and a combined technical and culture interview with the Lead Motor Engineer and Head of Claims.

Additional Information To meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means carrying out a DBS check and making sure you don't have any live criminal proceedings. We're committed to hiring without judgement, prejudice or bias. We encourage everyone to apply for our open roles.
